Retained capacity for long term support

Once an application or service is performing as intended, has no unacceptable risks or requirement for further development, you no longer require a squad of engineers. Instead you may need the odd ’tweak’, some cloud infrastructure and a support team who will investigate potential issues and concerns in a timely manner.

For this scenario we’ll provide an agreed set of skills, familiarity with your application or service and reserved capacity each month, which will roll over up to a limit if unused. Your team (either end users directly or your service desk) can contact our support team directly and the duty engineer will either work on the issue or assign it to the specialist in the team.

In our experience this is significantly less risky than having a single in-house expert, as things tend to go wrong just as he/she goes on leave or hands in their notice of resignation.
