Michal joined the Enterprise Systems team in November 2020. His responsibilities include frontend development for our web applications, writing tests for components and services, providing feedback for new features, investigating bugs, and continuously improving the code. He also develops backend unit tests and maintains various APIs. Occasionally, he is involved in maintaining and monitoring AWS resources.
He holds a BSc Hons in Computer Science, which he achieved while working for the company. Michal’s honours project subject was ‘Contextualization of Data Captured form engineering drawings’ work, on which he gained experience with OCR and object recognition. During the course, he started gaining experience in IT. He began working in IT in the oil and gas industry with the some of the biggest oil service providers in the UK (and the world) and he’s now further developing his web development skills.
Michal works closely with Robert to discuss productive fixes for demanding technical tasks. He’s constantly studying new technologies to improve in all areas of being a solid web developer.
Outside of the office, Michal enjoys a variety of activities such as cooking, hiking, cycling, meditating, camping, and refurbing a car. He originates from Poland. He fluently speaks Ukrainian and has been learning Spanish.
